How to use the live timer
- Look at the top navigation bar from any page in Flanceflow; locate the stopwatch icon.
- Click the timer button to open the quick tracker popover.
- Select the Project and Client you are currently working on.
- Optionally select a specific task or enter a short memo (e.g., "Drafting responsive tablet layouts").
- Click "Start Timer". The stopwatch will turn emerald green and tick continuously in the background.
- You can freely navigate between pages, close modals, or minimize your browser—the timer runs on a trusted server timestamp.
- When finished, click "Stop & Save". Flanceflow immediately calculates the billable value and logs the entry.

Time tracking tips for higher earnings
- Track non-billable time too: Track internal studio marketing or administrative tasks as "Non-Billable" to understand where your weekly hours actually go.
- Auto-rounding: In Settings > Preferences, you can enable 6-minute (0.1 hr) or 15-minute (0.25 hr) minimum billing rounding increments.
- Desktop tray companion: The Flanceflow desktop app features a minimal menu bar widget that displays your running timer without needing the browser open.
