Dual Currency Services (Quoting USD vs INR)
Quote domestic Indian clients in Rupees (₹) and international overseas clients in US Dollars ($) from the exact same reusable service catalog.
If you serve both local and overseas clients, you shouldn’t have to duplicate your service catalog or manually convert exchange rates on discovery calls. Flanceflow supports native dual-currency pricing on every service package.
How to configure dual currency pricing
- Open Services from the left sidebar and click "Edit" on any existing service (or click "+ New Service").
- In the pricing block, locate the "Enable Dual Currency" toggle switch.
- Enter your standard USD rate (for example, "$1,200").
- Enter your tailored INR rate (for example, "₹95,000").
- Save the service. When you create an invoice for a client with USD preference, Flanceflow automatically populates the USD amount; for INR clients, it uses the INR rate.
Dual currency quoting in action
| Service title | USD rate | INR rate | Client context |
|---|---|---|---|
| Landing Page Sprint | $1,400 | ₹1,15,000 | US tech startup vs Indian funded D2C brand |
| Hourly Technical Advisory | $125 / hr | ₹7,500 / hr | Remote international consulting vs domestic workshop |
| Monthly Design Retainer | $3,000 / mo | ₹2,40,000 / mo | Global SaaS company vs local enterprise retainer |
International billing tips
- Market-adjusted pricing: Freelancers often charge 20-40% higher nominal rates in tier-1 international markets to reflect local purchasing power and compliance overhead.
- GST zero-rating on export invoices: When invoicing foreign clients in USD, Flanceflow lets you select the "Export Zero-Rated" tax preset to remain 100% compliant with Indian LUT regulations.
- Payout gateway routing: Configure a supported payment link or UPI address based on the currencies and methods your clients use.
