Accounting & backup best practices

  • End-of-quarter routine: We recommend downloading a JSON backup of your workspace at the end of every financial quarter and saving it to your secure cloud drive (e.g., Google Drive or Dropbox).
  • Accountant access: Rather than parsing raw data files, you can also invite your accountant as an "Admin" or "Viewer" team member to let them review invoices and reports directly.
  • Structured JSON format: All Flanceflow data backups are exported in standard, structured JSON format with full precision timestamps and currency values, making it easy to archive or import into accounting tools.
